Chinese lithium prices rise by 17% in one year

Chinese lithium prices have powered forward by 17% for both battery grade and technical carbonate this year, according to Australian lithium producer Galaxy Resources Ltd.

Prices have reached levels Chinese Rmb 45,000/tonne ($7,075/tonne) for battery grade carbonate and Chinese Rmb 40,000/tonne ($6,289/tonne).
