Encanto Potash Corp. has received a Water Rights Licence from the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency for the companys Muskowekwan solution potash mine in southern Saskatchewan, Canada.
The licences grant Encanto 12,000 cubic decametres annually which the company requested to operate the solution mine at its full capacity of 2.8m tpa potash.
Securing the licence for a reliable and long-term water supply from Buffalo Pound Lake for our project is another critical step to move towards a producing potash mine on the flagship Muskowekwan property," said Encantos CEO Jim Walchuck.
