Potash market was a mixed bag in 2015, says SQM

Demand for potassium nitrate was up in 2015 as potassium chloride slid, although improvements are expected this year. Iodine sales saw an increase in 2015 as prices tumbled. Lithium, meanwhile is expected to see a demand increase in 2016.

Chilean minerals producer Sociedad de Quimica y Minera SA (SQM) has reported varying global demand for potash in 2015, with growth in the potassium nitrate market and contraction in potassium chloride.
