Chinese flake graphite exports dip in June

Graphite exports fell back in June, but remain strongly up year on year, in the wake of the tax removal.

Chinese graphite exports in June were 26,491 tonnes, up 73% year-on-year (y-o-y) but down 26% month-on-month (m-o-m), according to customs data. 

Flake graphite export from China rose 25% y-o-y to 11,981 tonnes, down 23% m-o-m. Average prices were $632.34/tonne in June, down 15% y-o-y but up 6% m-o-m....
