Lithium European prices on the chase of Chinese market

Chinese domestic lithium prices remain the main price driver of global lithium price compounds as European and US spot and contract markets play catch up. Consumers and producers engaged in 2018 negotiations expect higher prices as securing lithium carbonate supply remains the main issue in the industry.

Li2CO3) and lithium hydroxide (min 56.5-57.5% LiOH.H2O) spot
markets remained firm 19 October, supported by the tight
