Iodine price hits 15-month high after CPHI

Global iodine prices hit a 15-month high this week after producers and consumers gathered in Germany to negotiate prices. The increase comes on the back of months of bullish sentiment but little price movement.

Iodine prices moved up this week after negotiations got underway at CPHI Worldwide conference in Frankfurt.

Producers and consumers used the meeting to negotiate the price level for the remaining months of 2017.
