Jessica Roberts - Features Editor

Jessica joined Industrial Minerals (IM) in August 2008 shortly after graduating from the University of Leicester with a Masters degree in Geology.

She has worked as an intern with the US Geological Survey’s Earthquake Hazards Team, writing about California’s earthquake hazards.

During her time at IM, Jessica has primarily focused on writing and researching news and features for IM's online daily news service and its monthly magazine.

In addition to attending worldwide conferences, Jessica has chaired in-house IM Events including MagMin 2009 in Amsterdam, Fluorspar 2009 in Valencia, and the IM Congress in Miami, March 2010.

Jessica has visited a number of mines and mineral processing operations in China, Germany, South Africa, Spain, and Turkey.

IM responsibilities: news and feature writing, processing news

Interests: tennis, cooking and travel.
