WORK FOR INDUSTRIAL MINERALS

Online News Editor, London

Want to work on an exciting magazine? Industrial Minerals (IM) is recruiting an online news editor to work across its flagship website indmin.com and on its monthly magazine.

We are looking for someone with proven excellent proofreading and sub-editing skills who can write copy that is clear, concise and hard-hitting. A minimum of two years experience of working in a busy newsroom is required.

The magazine is growing and so are we – the successful candidate will have to be on the ball and prepared to swiftly get to grips with the market's dynamics. We want someone who is keen to take on a challenge, able to delegate, manage newsflow, and spot the news angle in a dry financial results story or corporate press release.

The candidate will also be used to working with data. They will be proficient with excel and able to spot a numerical mistake in copy, fast.

IM is an industry-leading publication offering market intelligence to the global non-metallic minerals markets.

Industrial minerals are key commodities used in all aspects of everyday life and in fast emerging new technologies.

Faced with an ever-increasing global resource shortage IM is fast becoming a key reference tool for buyers and sellers of the minerals.
