Ministry of Finance announces 5-15% export tax for magnesite, fluorspar and other minerals and metals

In a long anticipated move, China’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) today announced that export taxes ranging 5-15% would be implemented for exports of minerals, metals, and steel products from 1 June 2007.
