Bauxite prices holding up so far

Refractory grade prices holding despite industry expectations of a sharp decline.

Latest spot prices of bauxite (FOB China) have been reported to IM at $520/tonne which, while a $150/tonne drop compared to a price of $650/tonne in November 2008, is still significantly higher than a price of $280/tonne in January 2008.
