Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to produce lithium-ion batteries in 2010

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd (MHI), Japan’s largest heavy-machinery company, is expected to mass-produce lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries for electric cars by 2010.
