Obama stimulus gets desired effect as Nissan launch US lithium-ion vehicle plant

Nissan Motor Co. has revealed it is to establish a 100,000 unit/year lithium-ion vehicle plant in the USA in a joint-venture with battery producer NEC, a move which will have lithium carbonate (Li2CO3) developers on high alert.
