RHI’s H1 profit drops 98%

H1 2009 revenue falls by a quarter as steel business slumps 34.9% on poor demand

Leading Austria-based refractories producer, RHI AG, recorded a 25.1% fall in revenue during H1 2009; with sales of €604.5m. ($870m.), down from €806.8m. in the first half of 2008. The company’s profits also took a hit – falling 98.8% to €2.3m....
