CNMC’s $400m. Lynas bid dropped after Australian government’s rare earths ruling

China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co. Ltd (CNMC) has dropped its $400m. bid for a controlling stake in Australian rare earths developer, Lynas Corp. Ltd, after Australia’s Foreign Investment Review Board imposed strict conditions on the deal.
