Stocks still high as Chinese traders seek deals in weak market conditions

Demand for both metallurgical and non metallurgical grades of chromite remains weak in Q4 which has been exacerbated by a seasonal slowdown as many steel and foundry producers prepare to close operations for the Christmas period, industry sources told IM.
