Bauxite licence fee to rise, while brown fused alumina export taxes reduced to zero

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals and Chemicals Imports and Exporters (CCCMC)  has announced that the non-metallurgical bauxite export licence fee will increase to RMB300/tonne (around $44/tonne) in 2010, up from a figure of RMB135/tonne ($20/tonne) this year. ...
