Signs of recovering economies could mean a return of rising shipping rates

Recovering global economies could mean shipping rates for dry bulk material could climb in 2010, as countries increase raw material imports of iron ore and coal.

The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) finished trading this year at 3005 on 24 December '09, and is to open again on 4 January 2010....
