Editor’s Comment: Barytes and some rare earths on the rise while zircon slips

Barytes prices are looking firmer this week, as demand gently picks up in North America. A little tightness in supply is also edging into the market, as there are not going to be any barytes rail shipments from the mines to the ports in China, at least until March.
