Mining group to wind down Respina operation in Spain as reserves run out

Rio Tinto Minerals plans to close down the Respina talc mine in Leon, northern Spain, as reserves have run out, according to a recent employee announcement.


In a process lasting 12-18 months, the group will start to wind down operations in spring 2010...
