World No.1 coatings producer reports stronger Q4 buts says “recovery is fragile”

The world’s largest coatings and paints producer, Akzo Nobel NV, reported increased operating profits and margins in Q4 2009 as demand began to pick up in some businesses.


Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose 7% year on year to €248m. ($335m.), but sales were down 10%...
