World steel production rebounds

Output increases 25.5% in January driven by the EU, North America and east Asia

Global steel output increased 25.5% in January 2010 against the same month last year as production rose across all major regions.

 

According to figures from the World Steel Association (WSA), crude steel production reached 108.9m. tonnes...
