Chinese non-met prices still steady while refractory grade from Guyana inches higher
Prices for Chinese non-metallurgical bauxite
remain stable this month although ore quality continues to
deteriorate, industry sources told IM.
Published export prices (FOB China) for non-met bauxite,
which is used in a range of refractory and abrasive
applications, remain in the range of $400-535/tonne (85-87%,
Al2O3/Fe2O3/BD lumps 0-25mm).
