Rio Tinto raises talc prices

Leading North American talc producer plans 8% price hikes in June

Leading talc producer, Rio Tinto Minerals, has put forward an 8% price increase for talc products from its North American operations.

The increase will take effect from 1 June and is being brought in to cover increasing transportation and production costs, including mining, processing and packaging.
