Gathering storm clouds of power costs, strikes and shortages hang over prices

Chinese electricity price hikes are really starting to impact fused mineral prices and production, with some producers taking to only producing at night to avoid higher daytime charges – making minerals uneconomic to produce.

China is also generating huge price increases for certain fused minerals such as white fused alumina....
