Photovoltaic industry could face 45% cut in subsidies as govt spending falls

The Spanish government has announced plans to cut subsidies to the photovoltaic (PV) cell market as part of a wider drive to reduce spending, which could see subsidies for solar power projects reduced by up to 45%.
