Strong second half demand and tighter supply from China pile on price pressure

Prices for fused magnesia in North America are increasing as a combination of tight supply and strong demand push the regional supply/demand balance out of kilter.

Much of this can be traced to more limited supplies of Chinese fused magnesia, after the recent licensing and quota decisions made in July...
