Chinese buying for lithium convertors buoys demand as price hikes put forward
Prices for
glass and concentrate grades of spodumene, a hard-rock lithium
source, look set to rise in 2011 as demand from Chinese lithium
mineral convertors continues to grow.
In the first half of 2010 alone, Australian exports of
spodumene to China reached almost 95,000 tonnes, as demand
recovered...
