Mineral sands industry struggles to meet market demand from developing world

Demand for both titanium dioxide pigment (TiO2) feedstock and zircon is expected to outstrip supply by 2015 owing to a lack of new capacity coming on stream, according to Australian mineral sands producer, Iluka Resources Ltd.
