European perlite prices firm in Q4 on higher producer costs

Further price rises expected early next year as demand improves

European perlite prices are strengthening this quarter by around €5/tonne ($7/tonne) as producer costs have escalated. Again, exchange rates of the strong euro against a weaker dollar are coming into play pushing up the euro-based prices.
