Venezuelan government nationalises glass plants

Glass giant Owens-Illinois looks to legal process over expropriation

The Venezuelan government has announced its intention to expropriate two glass plants belonging to US glass giant, Owens-Illinois Inc., at Los Guayos and Valera, with officials already arriving at the plants to begin the transition process, although no agreement had been reached between the government and the company.
