Volatile rand makes South African prices difficult to predict for non-met chromite

Non-metallurgical chromite prices are set to rise for the next quarter, but the volatility of the South African rand is making negotiations difficult.

A new pricing picture should become clearer in the next two to three weeks, chomite market sources told IM.
