Prices undergo seasonal downwards movement but demand to strengthen in Q1

Global prices for dead burned magnesia (DBM) have fallen in the fourth quarter of 2010 as negotiations slow towards the end of the year.

DBM prices tend to follow those of the main Chinese grades, although this is thought to have lessened recently since supply from China has tightened.
