Non-met alumina and fluorspar on the rise, industry reacts to rare earth export cuts

Non-metallurgical alumina prices for several commodity and speciality grades have risen in the New Year as input costs remain high and demand increases.  

Leading US producers have been attempting to push through 6-12% price hikes on calcined alumina and aluminium trihydrate.
