Higher zircon prices and sales volumes boost Australian miner’s profits

Iluka Resources Ltd., the world’s biggest zircon sand producer, has reported a 63% increase in revenue for the year 2010 after achieving higher sales volumes and higher than average zircon sand prices.

Mineral sands sales revenue for the full year reached A$897.8m. ($902m.) from $549.7m. ($552m.) in 2009....
