Rio Tinto continues recovery with 2010 output boost

Mining group’s minerals see increases on “strong prices for most commodities”

Rio Tinto Plc’s mineral production – which includes titanium dioxide (TiO2), borates, and talc – continued to show a healthy recovery over 2010 in tandem with improving global economic conditions, the Anglo- Australian miner reported.


Over 2010, TiO2 feedstock production increased 21% to almost 1.4m. tonnes...
