Demand in Europe picking up but Chinese New Year brings quiet to the market
Prices of Chinese non-metallurgical grades of bauxite remain
flat despite new export controls implemented by the Chinese
government for this year.
For 2011, China is set to reduce bauxite export quotas to
800,000 tonnes from 930,000 tonnes, representing a 12% drop
