Ceramics producer positioned to supply boric acid through Japanese partner

Ceradyne Inc. has offered boric acid and nuclear waste containment materials to help contain radiation from Japan’s recently damaged nuclear reactors, the US ceramics producer said.

Reactors at Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station were damaged following an earthquake and corresponding tsunami on 11 March 2011.
