Increases expected later in the year; Asia prices retreat from late 2010 highs

Prices for US-produced soda ash, a mineral used in the used in the manufacture of glass and a range of chemicals, are expected to remain stable across markets in North America, South America and Europe over the coming quarter, a representative from a leading US producer told IM.
