Non-met alumina market tightens as rare earth prices continue to rocket

Prices could rise further in the non-metallurgical alumina market due to robust global demand and a run on prices in metallurgical markets.

Most non-met suppliers are locked in to six-month pricing contracts, so the market has not immediately reacted to the tightening of supply.
