TiO2 prices steadily increasing and set to continue through Q4

Tight supply continues to put pressure on prices, little resistance from customers

TiO2 market participants polled this week by IM were unanimous in their view that prices would continue to rise into and throughout the fourth quarter.

Most attributed the bullishness on a shortage of supply in raw materials. TiO2 is manufactured from the minerals ilmenite, rutile and, in smaller quantities, leucoxene.
