Owner puts 19 December deadline on bids; Kumas aims for top 10 mineral companies

Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF), the owner of Turkey’s leading magnesia producer Kumas AS, is seeking to sell its integrated magnesia and refractories subsidiary on 20 December 2011.

Interested bidders in Kütahya Manyezit Isletmeleri AS (Kumas) have until 19 December to submit their bids, starting at $320m....
