China lists companies passing checks; 2012 quotas expected to drop

The Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection released a list of the first 15 rare earth companies to have passed environmental standards checks.

According to Xinhua, the companies were chosen from 84 businesses that have passed inspections. This is out of over 300 rare earth companies operating in China.
