Molycorp finds end users for 78% of Mountain Pass output

Demand for US producer’s rare earths seen as positive for global rare earth industry

Molycorp has secured customers for 78% of rare earths production from its Mountain Pass, California, processing project, the US-based company said.

Molycorp has signed written agreements with customers for 58% of capacity, while 20% will be used for the in-house production of XSORBX, a cerium-based water treatment product.
