Producers raise prices as margins eroded, move to more-frequent pricing

European soda ash prices have increased this week on the back of perceived higher energy costs and changing price structures.


Unlike the US, which produces natural soda ash from trona, soda ash produced in Europe is largely synthetic and produced using salt and limestone.
