Southern Ionics US mine to produce 16,000 s.tons zircon

Last stage permitting to be submitted June 2012; first production set for Q4 2013

US speciality chemicals producer Southern Ionics Inc. will produce 16,000 s.tons (14,514 tonnes) of zircon and 60,000 s.tons (54,431 tonnes) of titanium feedstock minerals per annum from its Mission mine in Georgia, US.
