Chinese ministry publishes mandatory production plan for rare earth products

China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced on 28 June the publication of its "Provisional Regulation of Rare Earth Mandatory Production Management Plan".

The completion status of the plan, which includes mining, production and export regulations, will be monitored by MIIT and related provincial departments.
