Japanese firm given priority purchase rights in return for technical support

Australian Zirconia Ltd (AZL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Alkane ResourcesLtd announced yesterday that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japan’s Shin-Etsu Chemical Co. Ltd.

Under the agreement, Shin-Etsu is to manufacture separated rare earths from Alkane’s DubboZirconia project (DZP).
