Chinese CIF ilmenite prices falling with traders holding high inventories

The titanium dioxide (TiO2) market is continuing to soften, despite the price increase recently announced by Kronos Worldwide Inc., market sources indicated to IM this week.

“Pigment sales have slowed right down globally,” one source said.
