Chinese fluorspar exports show July hike, but trend remains down

Prices dip year on year as market demand falls off; hydrofluoric acid still strong

Chinese exports for fluorspar (CaF>97%) bucked recent trends in July to hit 46,370 tonnes, showing a seven-fold increase (621%) year-on-year (y-o-y), although the average export price of $441/tonne was down by 8.2% in the same comparison.
