Huber increase prices for calcium carbonate by 4-9%

Price hikes needed to offset costs of raw materials, packaging and freight

Atlanta-headquartered Huber Engineered Materials is to increase prices for its industrial calcium carbonate products by 4-9% depending on the packaging and grade of product.

Existing contracts permitting, the price increases will be effective from 1 December 2012, and will not affect Huber’s food and US Pharmacopeia (USP)...
